BSS heat shields

Does anybody know if you can remove/install the head shields on the big shot staggered pipes with the pipes already mounted on the bike? I was wondering in case I wanted to change the baffles down the line, if they have to be completely removed or if you can just pull the shields off to get to the baffle screws?

I don't know about the BSS, but on the Side Shots I was able to. It was a pain but I was able to wiggle them off.

When I installed the BCT baffles in my BSS I just used a dremmel with a little cutting wheel and cut a big enough square hole in the back of the shields where the hex screws were located to get them off. Then I didn't have to remove shields. I even sanded it and sprayed primer on the shield there where bare metal was exposed. The new baffles were installed further into the pipe where the pipe was exposed with no shield so I just drilled new holes and install the new bBCT baffles.
