I never heard of this, but then again I don't know much, I thought if it says N/A you don't have to input anything and I thought the fuelpak install was fairly easy, knocking on wood.

Mode 20 tells you the software version. When I installed the fuelpak on my XL1200C it was saying version 12 but for some reason did not want to go above a certain mode like yours. What I ended up doing was just turning the power to the bike off and on and for whatever reason the fuelpak started going up to all the other modes. I guess what I did was reset the thing...

That is correct. If your map says N/A for a given value than you dont have to enter a value. Some setups require values in the higher modes and this is when some setups require the newer software. For example my no baffle setup requires many values in the higher modes, but the baffled setup does not.

I had a fuelpak and hated every minute of it. After going through 3 tuners, I now have the TMAT. My problems with the fuelpak....it had decel popping for me. Lots of decel popping. I had the older version as well. I played with every setting possible to "tune" the popping out and couldn't do it.

V&H is an interesting company....and anyone that knows me, knows I love their pipes, but hate their tuner.

They do decel pop for sure. It doesnt bother me though as I like my engine to have fuel while decelerating. It keeps the valves cooler and keeps the engine ready to go on the next twist of the throttle.
