I have the fat drag bars on my street bob, but if i went back to apes it would have to be these!

I'd planned to do a full "before and after" of my 08 fxdb next week when completed.
However, I just installed some Chubby Wo504 bars and am loving the result. Here's some pics of the bars just to give you something other than apes to look at on a bob.
Thanks for putting these pics up. While I love the way apes look, they don't work for me. I have a set of black WO504's waiting to be installed on my '07 SB as soon as I get a few more parts in that I've ordered.
Well I just installed the exhaust and performed the 1000 miles service on my 2010 Street Bob. I want to install black handle bars and was orginally leaning towards a drag bar set-up but my buddy said the bike is a bobber and it needs ape's. Iam up in the air with what I want on it. I was looking at a set up with 14in apes or even a 16in apes but that might be to much. The bike comes stock with 12in mini apes and iam 5' 11"
What is everyones opinon on drag vs apes on a street bob. I know it is all on what I want to do but I just want to see what others think?
Thanks
Erik
Why can't bobbers have drag bars? I think a set of black drags would look killer with those pipes!
The mini-apes also look good... I wouldn't go taller.
I just think if i had two street bobs one with ape's and one with drag bars right next to each other I could then see what I like better. As for right now the stock 12in mini apes are fine while riding. Iam not sure if I went any taller it will effect my shoulders, arms, etc. I do know that if I went with drags it will feel very good and I won't have any problems with them. It just sucks that black 1 1/4 apes are so much money and then if I go with drag bars i'll have to change the upper triple clamp thanks to that intergrated riser...thanks harley

Loner Industries makes risers that bolt directly to the SB's integrated risers. I've got a set of the 4" ones (with a flat XR-style handlebar -- I'm going for the musclebike look for my SB), but I think he makes them via custom order as tall as 6". Cheaper and easier than replacing the top triple clamp.
