Dude thats a hack job on your throttle cable set up! You should install a longer throttle and idle cable. Bending that down like that and not using your idle cable just makes the other work you have done seem not even work the trouble.
Holy crap heingerich did those come off the front of a bus converted to a trike or something?
I put 14 inch bars (really measures out closer to 13.5") on mine and used all stock cables and wiring. The clutch cable wasn't bad at all, the throttle and idle cables needed the 90 degree elbow bent a little and the brake line just barely reached. The clutch cable has been replaced due to getting the braided black Harley one for $35 which is cheap. As soon as I can i will change the brake line out for a black braided one also. I may just leave the throttle and idle cables since they are braided and black already and don't look too bad. The wiring was done internally and there was way more than enough of it to reach.

How do you figure? Hack job, it's just straight. It took 5 minutes! Plus I covered it in shrink wrap so you don't see them steel pieces. How does not using the idle cable make all the other work not worth it?? It's not like it does anything special 1) it looks better with one cable out of the throttle housing 2) it was so easy my 5 year old could probably do it. I don't know if you ever changed bars before, but it's not a lot of work. The hardest part is taking apart the connectors and putting them back together (if you're running the wiring internally), and that's not even that difficult.
Jaron, I don't see how you got so much slack in your brake line. Mine barely reaches.
Here's how my stock cables looked like. This was before I had the clutch cable replaced with a slightly longer one...
I've got plenty. But I think either 07 or 08 and newer they got rid of the stupid steel tubing (no offense). If you need better pics let me know and I'll get some tomorrow when the sun is out.

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. I love your comment dude. My wife hates the bars but I just tell her she knows where she rides. Im a big guy but not fat. 6"2' 220. I know that the bars I got look insane but you should see it with me on it. They fit just right. Im a wide guy and the stock bars killed my wrists. I rode 400 miles after I got the bike in febuary and the stock bars killed me more than the cold(i rode it home with snow on th ground and ran over 4 sheets of black ice). I ride. I dont weather ride. When I tell you the stock bars killed my wrists, they did. I put the new bars on and after the almost 700 mile ride the only thing that was "hurting" was my back(previouse injury).

Oh don't worry I think the steel tubing with the rubber hose looks awful myself. They must have stopped that after 07 because my Street Bob is an 07. That is really the main reason I want to change the brake line out is for a nicer looking black braided one well that and it should also help have a better feeling brake lever. Is yours a braided line from the factory or what? Oh and what is with the shrink wrap on your bars?
