Air shocks for a FXDL
I can buy a 99 roadking real cheap, was wondering if the air shocks and on board compressor will fit on my 01 lowrider? I think it is a twin cam A engine same as mine, would give me some engine/tranny parts too. Terry

Probably not an air compressor.... just the stock touring "air shocks". I'm running a set as well.
If I were you I'd wait and try to find a newer set of OEM shocks unless these are just ridiculously cheap. The newer models have a larger capacity where as the older ones only hold upwards of ~20psi.

'quality' is subjective - the touring shocks on the dyna make the ride very confortable, but kind of bad in the 'cornering' department. and I doubt they will carry 2-up, tried the 54565-09 and the slightly stiffer 54565-97C and they're no good for 2-up (200lbs me and 110lbs wife).
i will keep them tough, much nicer to ride the bike with them than with the stockers that kick your butt out of the seat on every bump. just need to decide wich one (-97C or -09) will stay on which bike (fxdc or sportster). Any one of them is AWESOME on the sportster (will run very well solo with no air, with plenty of headroom to add air to support a passenger). On the dyna I tend to run them maxed out on the PSI for extra ground clearance.
cheers
