Default Hey WS6 Formula or JRK5892, Air Shock Questions . . .

I'm looking to do this mod myself. I have an '08 FXDC, and was wondering if you all knew what size I should get? I would like the bike to be lowered about an inch in the rear, if that is at all possible with this mod. Also, how hard is the install? I appreciate any and all input.

Here's what the 12" shocks look like, You can get 13" take off shocks from eBay fairly cheap if you don't want to go that low. PM SPECIAL ED, he had some 13" take off shocks on his, see if he has any side shot photos of him sitting on the bike.

ORIGINAL: WS6 Formula

Heres a photo of the crappy China copy aftermarket 12" air shocks from eBay with my 225lbs of weight on them at 22 psi. They sit at the same height as the original Low Rider 12" shocks when I'm not on the bike, and ride lower then my original Low Rider shocks with my weight on them.

I now have Harley 12" Low Profile Air Shocks made by Showa for the Touring bikes. I'm using individual Schrader valves see post #48

This may have already been discussed on this forum, but which HD part numbers work for the lowering air shocks.&nbsp\\; I've got a Dyna that I want to replace the low rider shocks on and put the 12" air shocks.&nbsp\\; I know part number 54631-98 will work, I'm wondering if 54662-02A will work.&nbsp\\; The bike is a 92 FXDC but I want to lower it just a bit since I'm not that tall and the bike is spindly to begin with.

I'm going to buy a set of factory shocks first, that's why I gave the HD part numbers.&nbsp\\; I've heard some unsettling things about those shocks from Eastern Performance.
