That looks excellent!!

A piece of unsolicited advice on the velcro from Wally World.... the adhesive will give out over time, you might want to consider using some "Industrial" velcro from Lowe's or Home Depot, plus you can get it in black. The adhesive on that stuff is SUPER strong and damned near "permanent" once pressed into place.

I did something similar on a dirt bike a few years back to blacken the upper forks.

I went to a sign shop and bought some thin black adhesive vinyl. Cut it and wrap it around the tubes. Use a heat gun or hair dryer to make it contour around any obtrusions.

This winter I plan to make a set of wraps with the velcro sewn on. The currents ones I have on were more of a trial set to see how much I liked them, which I do very much.
