Has anyone tried the wooden bead seat covers like beadrider. they are supposed to be really comfortable. I was thinking of giving one a try.

Got my Corbin Classic Solo in this afternoon. So far, very happy with it. Will let you know if I experience any "numb butt" in the following days.

Same here with my hollywood solo...big mile days & no issues at all! Don't think mine changed much after a few hundred miles...if anything it just got better and better as I rode it cause I was stoked to finally have a killer seat & not thinkin about my a** being numb! I agree about being contoured to fit well...cause it keeps your a** planted & doesn't really allow you to move all over the place! Yes it's firm to touch, but they just plain old work...any bike I ever own will have one, hands down!

No "numb butt" for me. I've adjusted my bars because it put be a bit further back than I thought it would. I have the 2" spaces from Jim Henderson in the mail too, I want to see if I can get my back perfectly straight and my arms pretty relaxed, that and a firm seat are the key to long term comfort for me.
