Here's a pic of 412's on my Low Rider. 412's pretty much look just like the stock Showa's unless you really look close. For all that matter, I installed 412 full chrome covers on my stock Showa's they are so similar. Anyways, heres the pic.
Did you say that you put Progressive's full cover kit on your stock Showa shocks? I'm looking for options for full covered shocks and was wondering if the 12 inch kit would fit my stock shocks. How difficult to do?

Sorry, just saw this post. Yes, a couple years ago I bought a set of 12 inch chrome covers off ebay and my local Indy swapped them on to the Showa's. They went on without a hitch. The only issue I had was I put them on the stock 12.6" Showa's, so when the shocks were on anything but the softest setting, there was about a 1/4 inch gap between the bottom of the chrome cover and the lower shock cover. On that softest setting there was just enough sag in the shock the gap vanished, otherwise you could see it. That was what prompted me to buy my first set of 412's for this Dyna.
Just for the record, I have a set of the garbage 12" ebay china shocks with the full covers. I am going to pull those covers and see if they work on my 412's as well. I assume they will work as they are 412 copies that suck a$$. I got them from twoorangeharleys a while back and they were such low quality hunks of crap that just being able to pilfer the covers would be more use than I ever could hope to get from them.
