Default progressive shocks

will the stock upper chrome bolt/stud covers on fxdc work on the progressive 412 shock?how bout some pics of 412 12" mounted?different sites show different pics of these shocks and i wondered how they really look mounted!!

If they are the same chrome bolt cover that the 07 Street Bob uses then yes they fit fine.
These are progressive 412 11 inch shocks...

Here's a pic of 412's on my Low Rider. 412's pretty much look just like the stock Showa's unless you really look close. For all that matter, I installed 412 full chrome covers on my stock Showa's they are so similar. Anyways, heres the pic.

thanks for the pics,some of the shocks ive seen look like there is about 2" of shock body showing below the spring,must be on the really short shocks

How are the 11" progressives with a passenger? I want to lower the bike, but still want to be able to ride 2 up. I looked at the Burly Slammer, but it looks too low to ride 2 up. Maybe I'm wrong. Is it possible to ride 2 up with the bike lowered/slammed. It's a 2006 FXD.

I got the 11 inch 412, and have no problems with a passenger. Just remember there is a passenger weight limit.

They fit on my 05 superglide. And I run 2up all the time with no issues. My girlfriend is pretty light though

I bought mine of a member here named Tweakin who was selling them to get black ones instead I believe. I have heard Eastern Performance has a good price and quick shipping though.

yep they will go two up if you keep her under 100 lbs
