I recently installed Burly slammers on my 10 WG. Your fender should be fine, I chopped a few inches off mine prior to installing the shocks, also removed my beltguard when I first got the bike so can't help there. I'll check it out tomorrow when I return home and see if it needs to be removed and let you know. If you look at some of my other posts in my profile (chopped/strutless rear fender) you can see before and after pics. I went from progressive 412s to the Slammers and I'm very stoked about how it has turned out. On my phone so I can't post pics here.

Dude, your bike is sick man, I MEAN SICK! I love it! Any specific part # to look for for those Burly's?
I went to the burly brand website and got the part number there and bought them off ebay for about $150. Also took a pic of the bike after installing the shocks and emailed to Burly and as advertisted they sent me a free t-shirt thats pretty sweet.

Congrats for your good taste man !
If I can break in here, I have seen a bunch of lowering threads. Most only wanting to lower the thing 1 inch. My question is, what is the main reason people are lowing the bikes. Is it for a real seat hight issue , looks or handling? And doesn't lowring just the back change the way the thing handles?
