Default Need some handlebar help

I am looking to purchase these handlebars and I need to know what length cables I will need to replace the stock cables, or if I will need to replace them at all. If I do need to replace them, what cables should I go with. If you could please be of assistance I would greatly appreciate it.

This is the first line from the topic you link to -

"Put these on today, and didnt have to change any cables or line."

That should clear things up.

Sorry about that, I meant to put the link to the Nash Motorcycles website for the Gimp Hangers. It has been updated. I was browsing the forums when I posted this and must have copy and pasted the wrong link.

These are the handlebars I am curious about. I need to know what a good length of cable will be for these and what cables I need to replace.

Those are tall bars! What I would do is make a cardboard cut out measuring the the size of the bars. Tape it on the bike. Take a string and run the cabling as you want it run. Then measure out the string. Add in a couple of inches, that way you can make the adjustments accordingly. Its easier to substract from the cable than is it to add.

Derek, be sure to read your service manual when removing throttle side grip.

If you get into disassembly of switch housing the brake light switch is in there.

Have a gasket on hand for the clutch release cover, you may or may not need it.

You will need the large circlip removal/install device.

Careful screwing the clutch cable into the cover.

etc etc
