I hit a deer
I hit a deer on my wide glide Saturday night. I was by myself on the home stretch just 1/4 mile from my house. I broke several ribs and am pretty busted up. I'm workin on pricing out replacing all of my broken stuff but the gas tank is ruined along with my beautiful paint ;(
I'm going to call the insurance company Friday and see what they'll cover... I'll post pix later -too many percosets to move right now

Sucks ... glad you're on the mend ... check the classifieds ... and let the forum members on here know what parts on your bike are busted up ... guys on here are pretty responsive to a friend in need ... hope the insurance adjuster does right by you ....

Glad to hear that you are not busted up more than you described! Your bike can always be repaired or replaced. Good luck with your insurance company--hope ya have a fast and complete recovery!

That sucks, sorry about the bike, but glad you're ok. I was riding with a group on a toy run a few years back and the guy in front of me hit one head on. It flipped his bike end over end and he landed head first. Died a few hours later. We were in the middle of around 80 bikes at 2 PM and it just jumped right out in between bikes. Just never know.

Thanks guys, so far the only thing I'm having a hard time finding is the gas tank. I'll post pix of the damage and the progress tomorrow.
