I'm leaning with the quality of the bulbs at 28 cents@. Have some one from the states mail some higher quality from Autozone. When they are installed I'd put put a dab of dielectric grease on the contac points and then wipe the glass with a alcohol swab. I realize halogens are real critical about the alcohol cleaning, anymore I treat all bulbs like halogen, I just don't trust the glass/bulb quality. Too many companies taking shortcuts for the bottom dollar. Just me.

Is the "relocation" in an area that subjects the bulbs to more shock than before?

Those tiny filaments don't like hard bumps.

On a fender, they have the shocks to absorb some of the bumps.
On the swing arm, they'd feel everything your axle does.

.

All of the bulbs that have burnt out are Harley Davidson bulbs, the cheap bulbs have not burnt out yet, they are the bulbs that replaced the HD ones.

They are still in the same place as stock, just relocated to put in "docking hardware" for the removable sissy bar & rack.

Another place to check for corrosion is the fuse block and fuse blades.

I've had to clean mine up a few times - water does get under that cover when riding in the rain or washing.

Well, I just looked at the fuse block, not sure what fuse goes to the tail lights, but they are all corroded to some degree. That could definately be adding to the problem. Need to get that cleaned up and put some dielectric grease in there.

My first thought was moisture getting in the signal housing, but if the fuse panel is corroded the problem might just be the moisture getting in the fuse panel. I am pretty sure though your problem is the moisture.
