Default Fat Bob - Leather Look - Not what I expected

Since HD published their Fat Bob photo's with their 2010 line up I've been considering changing the look of my FB to match this one:

I added the SE slip ons, black exhaush shields, derby cover, moved the turn signals, black lens covers and added some of the smaller items listed in the PDF parts list on the HD site where the original pic is shown.
Here's the results:

Sorry for the glare on some of the photos.

Well, it's not really what I expected. It's not a complete conversion that's on the HD site, wheels, forks, handlebars, etc have not been changed. That's where the big cost is. I have the black rocker box covers but haven't installed them yet.

After riding it a few times I've realized that I don't like the feel of the seat either. I really need more back support.

So.... If anyone is looking for a set of distressed leather bags, seat, pillion and sissy bar pad send me a PM and make me an offer. I've already put my old seat back on.

I think they look great on your bike, but you ought to be able to sell them on ebay pretty easy without loosing to much. I have brown bags on my bike and its funny...I have mountains of custom parts, but the only parts that ever seem to draw a compliment are my brown bags.

The leather is a completely different color in the promo pics vs real life. Maybe HD retouched the image??? Almost bought them for my bike as well, but stayed with safe old black.

I to like the look of HD's options on that Fat Bob and your bike looks great....
But if your **** aint happy you aint happy!!
If you want to keep that look you might look into having your stock seat redone in brown destresed leather or vinyl..
You need to rotate your handlebars down a little, other than that your bike looks good...

How easy is it to install the front turn signal re-location kit? Any major modding or wire refab required? thanks for the info.

I think it looks great, if the seat is the only problem, have it reworked, or find one you like and have it recovered.

Just did mine last night, only took about an hour. Just have to buy the kit from HD and reroute the wiring. But you do have to pull the tank back to get to the wiring harness.
