Getting ready to do the front motor mount shim on my '08 Street Bob as suggested in other posts. Will probably use Loctite brand and was wondering what color: red, blue or green? Or any other suggestions. Thanks.

Red is for permanent lock like engine head bolts, blue is intermediate so thats what I use. It holds securely but allows for removal if necessary and green is for already installed bolts and nuts. Its suppose to wick into the threads. I've used it occasionally but blue is my first choice for almost everything. Here is a shot of my 1/4 in shim.

Blue is what you want.

Red is fine if you don't mind using a torch to take the bolt out again.
Green is for all ready assembled bolts. It wicks into place.
