i am sorry for the spelling mistake we are all not smart like you jerk
I was just kidding. And I am not the one that doesn't know where to find the oil capacity of a motorcycle - or how to help my brother find it for his motorcycle. If you ask questions that would be simple to answer in about 30 seconds on your own, you will get a bit of ribbing for it.
I suggest you get a sense of humor, and a thicker skin, when you buy that service manual for your brother.
I just changed the oil in my Street Bob, same motor I'm guessing, and it took 2 1/2 guarts...changed the filter too. But yeah, it is in the manual. Replying with name calling will generally not go over well with other readers, just FYI...I'd think with as much time that you've been on this (and probly other) sites would have taught you that by now.

Mine took 2-1/2 quarts. Start with that (or less). Not a drop more or you'll regret it.
Adding oil is easy. Getting it out? Not so much. And if you run it with too much oil, odds are good it'll start puking it out the air cleaner -- Or worse.
Same with the other two holes. Adding is easy, removing is a PITD. The primary (on mine) took about 30 ounces. Same with the tranny.
