Guys that "live with it" suck exhaust. Those sheets show that he hadn't had much tuning. Low run count. All they did was set his afr and took his money. Sure there are some tuners that don't save the "in between runs" but most of them do. Mine does. His 8th and 9th run were his straight AFR passes. They didn't even play with his timing map. Depending on which base map they started with, he may be set up with the timing for a stock EPA cam.

Live with it? Hell no. Not after all that money spent and effort involved. Don't quit now til you squeeze every last pony outa there.

I agree totally with Ed! You pay a tuner to get every last bit of power out of your build. And I don't understand the whole " left some on the table" thing. You paid for a motor, you paid to have it tuned, why the hell would there be some "left on the table"? My last tune was done by probably the highest rated tuner on the east coast (Dave) @ JD'S cycleworks. And for him not to leave anything on the table, it took a total of 95 runs!

How much compression do you have? The 31's 46*IVC will need a bump to work right. The short 18* overlap is a plus for your pipes, the high overlap cams are the ones where you need to be picky on your pipes. I don't think you would gain more than 5 with a 2-1. A good tune is also important.

Mine was near 70 runs. Runs sweet in every range! Valley Racing, Beecher, IL.

I think it's more in the cams than exhaust, I would put in a set of 54's. I was being generous with the 5, I really think it would be more like 2 or 3 with his build.

my 54's are giving me 104/114 SAE. But I have headwork and optimal compression, with the 2 into 1.

I am going to G2 Motorsports on Thursday to get my bike re-tuned. They are supposed to be one of the best tuners in this area. I'm not so rapped around the numbers as I am ensuring I am getting everything I can out of the set up that I have on the bike and I'm not sure I got that from the Dealership. They didn't really explain anything when I had questions and they didn't give me any feeling of confidence that I got everything I could from their tune... so here goes some more money
