hello,all
Has anyone put stock St. Bob handlebars on a Superglide Custom?
I am assuminging I will need both throttle cables, clutch cable and brake line?
Is there enough of the factory wiring harness to reach? Any pics,or part #'s?
Thanks,Tom
That's exactly what I'm after, are those H-D cables or aftermarket?
The cables are the diamond back cables from HD. I am sure the Magnum Shielding~Sterling Chromites cables are just as good if not better.
If I am not mistaken I believe that Magnum Shielding actually makes the Diamond Backs for HD. I think I remember reading a thread about it a few years ago. Been awhile so I am not positive tho.
I found it easier to ask the HD parts girl to determine lengths and what not and take the lazy way out. Thats why I went with the Diamond backs. Pure laziness
I just told her that I had an FXDC and was placing SB bars on, and she did all the calculations and ordered them for me on the spot. Some call it laziness, I call it efficiency. LMAO
Good luck with your swap. I am actually doing an internal wiring next week with some of the newer SB bars. The ones I have on my bike atm, are not internally wired.
