my plan is to keep what i have with the controls and everything together but build a new set of bars to swap out and try something different might go to drags or shorter apes but different style

I'm swappin to Z Bars here this month and after I get a couple thousand miles on with em, to make sure I like em, I will be selling a set of Street slammmers with SS braided cables. I'm guessing beginning to mid summer. As soon as I am ready I could just pm ya, sounds like your in no real hurry
