Hey guys, the other day I put new bars and risers on my fathers 2010 wide glide. He was complaining that the stock bars were too wide and a little out of reach for him. We went and installed a Flanders 35 degree drag bar and Harley 6" chrome pull back risers. The whole process was really really easy and pretty straight forward . Hardest part is getting the wires out of the factory connectors. Here are a few pics of the new bars.
Yeah..! Nice result, no mistake..!
It seem's me like same look as the ness bars..? Some similar.. Love it..!
And the forward control are not so far for him ? You know you can find "back plates" for a better drive position ?
Very nice bike, congrats !!!
Great job! I also have a wide glide and I have the same problem, what are these back plates?
Hye Jonathan, you have 2 solutions :
First : Build your own personnal back plates exacly for your leg lenght..
(The cheaper but need some machining work knowledge..)
Second : The Accutronix "back plates" sold in chrome or black powder coated fit's 1'' 3/8 back from the stock location..Perfect for us..!
(Take care to the exhaust clearance..!)
