My 09 fxdc.
I am only 5'-6", and they are real comfortable. No problems reaching.
Heel rests are awesome on a long ride.

Got an FXDF ( Fat Bob) with forwards and it's the most comfortable bike I have ever owned or ridden for that matter. 32" inseam on the jeans and the pegs could be further forward and still be comfortable for long rides.
