I am planning to set forward controls on my FXDC, but I wanted to see some pics of how it looks and if someone can comment on how confy they are on riding.
Not only that, they look so much better than factory. After I bought mine I found inexpensive, but matching, options to try out from JC Whitney. First I tried the large pegs, then the large pegs with stirrups, then the floorboards. I liked them all, but each change felt better.

Sounds like I'm on a similar path. I'd love to see a shot of your bike with the floor boards and that Bub exhaust showing.
BTW here's a shot of the FC with the heel rests.

Reason: QC
I have an 09 with forwards, engine guard and highway pegs. As you can see from the angle of the brake, my knees are still really bent. I'm about to put the Kury extended on to see if they "fit" me better. If not, these current forwards feel like where the mids should have been to me (even with the Sundowner seat).
I also use heel rests on these for additional comfort (though I need to tighten them back down since I shoved down too hard on them when re-situating my fat butt on the seat).
