Here is my take.......... 1st; not sure yr you got but I believe most new Harleys have a clutch lockout switch and you may have to look at your wire work again.
looks like pulling in the clutch is completing the circuit to turn lights on...... check wires.
clutch lockout switch colors are blk...blk/red.........info from my hd book
lights hi/low colors are yellow.....blue.........info from my hd book
