Detachable, high quality, plenty of room and in spite of the detachable side-plates for the sissy bar and luggage rack, they still hug the bike real tight:
Have to agree Boss bags. Separate thread on saddle bags showed some awesome soft bags from Boss for Dyna.
The bags open from the side which gets rid of that "box" look. The top of the bag is sloped, so from the rear the line of the bike is not lost so much. The bottom of the bag is still blunt and squared but closest I've seen for looks and usefulness.
My biggest thing with the bags and fairings and all the other luggage look is it pulls away from the bike. I love a stripped decker, choppers, streamlined customs... BUT, if you want to travel or even get to work you need some sort of bags.
The swingarm solo bag actually looks pretty trim if the other side could be matched.
I've got the studded, squarish Heritage bags, but I don't care for the look. I'm looking for the 'flap top' bangs that hang real low and aren't so damn wide. Haven't seen any I'm happy with yet.
Really like these, though they're a bit too fat for my taste. May be close as imma get.
If the bottom of the bags were rounded a bit to appear to snug in, think that would be it. I've been looking for "the look" for some time. My old shovel had soft throw overs that flattened down nice and snug, should have kept them.
