'07 fuel pump noise at startup

My 09 1200 C fuel pump (3,600 miles on the bike) also makes various noises other than the normal whirling when turning on the fuel pump....I guess it is just the way it is.....I am not going to worry about either....thanks for info from all of you,,,,

I'm in the club too. Had it checked when my bike had another unrelated repair and fuel PSI checked out at idle and under load. No issues so far, however I would like to check that vent someone spoke about, where is it again?
