Air cleaner mods
i have noticed many bikes with there air cleaner mods, i am very interested in a mod that i saw, looks like the stock air cleaner but only the round part is left and a screaming eagle insert around the edges, how do i get one or do i have to make my own, i plan on installing the screaming eagle air cleaner and really like the look of that modded end cap for the filter.

Yes exactly, i think it looks great, so i do have to cut out the round part of my stock oval shaped cleaner. not a biggie, thought this could be bought, but i do have all winter to do this mod, i live in Ottawa Canada and winters can be long.

THX , the photo of the air cleaner cover is exactly what i want to do, any recommendations on what tool i should use to cut out the circle . I am new here, and what a bunch of great folks willing to help on this site.

You can find the Screamin Eagle inserts on eBay, info in the below link for trimming the housing.

4" grinder/cut off wheel....belt sander to clean up the edges.
A dremel can work too, just will eat a lot of wheels up.
If you have access to a band saw that would work too.
Anything with a blade that can cut metal....just depends on what you have.
