Started the journey of customising my 2008 Street Bob, got rid of the standard bars thanks to Loner industries, fitted le pera seats, slash cut pipes and now to the **** end. Like the voodoo rear fender from rocket bobs, any other mods out there worth considering?
I have an 08 street bob and I bobbed the rear fender myself. At first the fender set too high off of the tire but an 1 3/4" lower kit solved that problem perfectly. Them the back turning signals looked weird out there alone so I moved them in to the front bolt mount of the back fender. Haven't got new pics on here yet but I will post them on here later so you can see it. Best thing is it cost me 0 dollars.
I have the Le Pera Bare Bones. Been happy with it. I suggest keeping your stock seat to change to also. A little over 300 miles in one day and it's a little hard on the rear.
Anyway guys back to the original thread, any ideas as to what I can do with the rear end, wider tyre, bob it, different shorter fender?
Oh and yes I agree the Le pera seat looks good but any serious length of time on it and yes the backside starts to hurt and worse still if you have a sciatic nerve problem.
