Ok now you can do me a favor. I need some information on your emblems and how you attached them.

I have those exact emblems, but I haven't put them on yet. My question is did you bend them to the curve of the tank. If yes, HOW?

Thanks for the help.

Thanks.
16over, i am not terribly happy with these emblems i would like them to fit tight to the tank, you can see a 1/4 inch gap at some points and nothing i can do about it. They do fit to the contour of the tank though. What i did was this, i have a foot and a half piece of 6 inch round oak, i gently rolled the emblem on the wood till i got the contour i wanted. They need to get a better mounting system for these emblems. I saw one at the deeler last weekend on a new 06 883, it was the same idea with the sticky mounting plate but what was different was how the emblem mounted. It was held on by two screws which sucked it tight to the tank. Anyways i am ok with these for now, i will be painting the bike again this winter so they will be coming off.

Thanks. Maybe I'll just leave the tank blank for now. I do like it without anything, but I spent the $$ on the emblems so I was going to try them, but now maybe not!
