hey guys i have an 07' streetbob, and.....
it has the black center tank console, i think i would like to get a chrome one, would an 07 lowrider or something similar fit on the bob?
or do i have to get some aftermarket part from a supplier or something, has anybody put a chrome one on their bobs?

Tank type will determine if the exchange would be easy.
The Dynas have used 3 tanks from 2004 to 2010.
Tank 1 = FXD, FXDX, FXDC, ‘07 FXDSE
Tank 2 = FXDB, FXDL, ‘08 FXDSE, '10 FXDWG
Tank 3 = FXDWG to '08, ‘06 FXDI35, ‘07+ FXDC, ‘08+ FXDF, '09+ FXDFSE
Tank 1 = FXD, FXDX, FXDC, ‘07 FXDSE
Tank 2 = FXDB, FXDL, ‘08 FXDSE, '10 FXDWG
Tank 3 = FXDWG to '08, ‘06 FXDI35, ‘07+ FXDC, ‘08+ FXDF, '09+ FXDFSE

I assume yours is made of plastic too. Was it textured (is in the denium texture), and if so did you chrome it as-is or did you do something to it prior to chrome?
