xxxflh---- Where did you find the EBC's at for Harleys??? I've used EBC's on my dirt bikes in the past, but the dirt bike/crotch rocket shop doesn't carry them for Harleys. I also Put EBC's on my Ford Ranger, and they made a world of difference, really quiet, more stopping power, very little dust. I will be needing brakes on my Dyna in about 2-3000 miles so i'm starting to look for the EBC's

My vote is for Lyndall Z Gold pads.
Replaced the worn stock pads on my '97 FLSTC. Almost completley dustless and nosieless. Really help to keep my wide whitewall Metzlers cleaner and makes them easier to clean.

Those instructions are good. I think in the touring bike manual it says to change the inner pad first, which makes no sense to me. Maybe I read it wrong. Anyway, I do it outer first, then inner. Put a pair on my buddy's EG in Cody WY this summer, on the street, right next to where they were having a staged gunfight. Ten minutes.

I just took off my brake pads and am a little confussed ... what are the clips that you are all talking about ... do they stay in the caliper when you take pads ? do they come off with the pads ?
