Could you show a shot from the side? I modded my Memphis Shade mount to HD Quick release, But somehow looks different.
Yours are set for wide trees, mine reversed for the narrower Mid trees position, But still looks like you have notched or cut your mounting plate.
Perhaps for clearance on the triple tree side.. If the mounting plates will just bolt to the BatWing this is the way to go..
Did you have to Fab / modify anything to get the quick release onto the fairing or did it bolt right on?
Do you still get alot of wind buffeting like with the shield?
I didn't have to modify anything. I just removed the QD clamps from my HD windshield, and bolted them to the same slots that the Memphis Shades clamps utilized on the fairing mounts.
With this fairing I'm more protected than with the windshield only. Rather than getting the slapping wind buffeting feeling it's more of a smooth wind that I feel. Plenty of wind still gets behind the shield, which I like. But I'm not slapped around like before.

See if these shots help:
Your setup is completely different because it looks as though your brackets are for a windshield. The fairing brackets I have are different than the Memphis Shades windshield brackets.
I didn't have to notch or cut anything -- just bolt on my QD clamps. I don't think your mounting plates will bolt to the batwing but I guess I could be wrong with out having it all available to measure.
I understand now.. Thanks for the extra shots.
I was under the impression that you had modded a Memphis Shades windshield mount.
I see now that it is in fact a mount designed for the BatWing setup that you had modded to use the HQ quick release clamps.
Thanks .
Ronn I remember when I first got the fairing I took my brackets from the HD windshield and tried to mount them up to the fairing (in place of the Memphis Shades brackets), and I think I could have gotten it to work.
So based on that I think it's possible that you could get your Memphis Shades brackets to work. Might require drilling some new holes in your brackets to line up with the studs coming out of the fairing. But I'd be wrong if I said it was completely impossible.
One thing to consider is the angle at which other brackets would sit the fairing on the bike. When I compare my fairing to, say, a Street Glide, my fairing sits back on an angle, whereas the Street Glide seems to be sitting more straight up.
I just received my Memphis Shades Fairing (PN:2330-0017 )today. I already had Memphis Shades Hardware Kit (PN:2320-0029) which is for the Memphis Shades Fats/Slim windshield for 2006 & up Dyna Mid Glide Models. I put the two together and they bolted right up to my 2007 Superglide with no modifications to the mounting hardware. I will try to post pictures tomorrow as it's getting dark now and I want to do them outside.
Hey Wyde Glyde Bry,
Hopefully I'm not hijacking this thread, but I have a question on your setup. Are your turn signals on your handlebars and did you have to re-position your headlight?
Thanks,
Steve

Turn sigs were able to remain in their stock location. With mini-apes, they stick out on either side of the windshield and far enough forward so they don't shine back in on the inside of the fairing.
My headline is a 9" X 5.75" from Eastern Performance. The offset mount I used to mount headlight pushes the light forward enough so i didn't have to re-position anything. A stock light will sit too far back in the fairing. So anyone doing this I recommend getting the 9" long headlight and an offset mount. That way, when you take the fairing off your headlight will still look normal on the bike. Here's the headlight w/out the fairing:
