You can get the pipes from Eastern performance for less than $300 to your door.
Invest in the "quiet" baffles, which give more backpressure and a deeper tone.
.much better sounding IMO.

Eastern quotes $275 for the SSs at their website. For up to 2005.
I waited about 6 months for VH to have anything available for the 06s.
I chose the SSs because they look good to my eye, and they were cheap.
Knowing that I would be upping inches and etc later (now).

Is the wrap just for looks or does it aid in function.
Was it tough to make the wrap even when you installed it and
does it ever come loose and require re-wrap?
Either way they look great. Best lookin pipes I have ever seen.
I'm looking to get a 07 street bob in the near future and
I am diffenately going to do something like that with the black wrap
but I'm trying to find something that gives a lttle better back pressure for engine life.

On the V8 motors it helps alot from what I understand.
Main reason I wrapped mine was the bike was lookin too shiny.
I've wrapped V8 headers before, so no, these were a breeze.
Done right it will not unwrap. No way for it to.
Does get scuffed up where my shoe rubs.
