My '09 touring shocks are running at about 45psi. On older touring shocks you can not run pressure this high. So the psi range depends on what year shocks you have.
I tried the search but it didnt come up with anything....
My sporty has RK airshocks....and IM thinking about buying a Dyna...Will the RK shocks work on the Dyna aswell???? Thanks for your in put.
A road king and a sporty are fairly close in spring rate and valving. There is about a 50% difference in spring rate and valving between a Road king shock and a Dyna shock if set up correctly. Although I have seen it done I would not recommend it, they will be extremely soft on a dyna unless it is a fxr.

Precisely what I found. I put a set of 12 inch touring air shocks on my Low Rider last year. They simply could not support two up riding. Even with almost 50 PSI the big bumps would bottom her right out. Solo riding, I was pretty pleased as they were smooth as glass, but most of my riding was two up. Air shocks are not well suited to Dyna's do to how forward they are located on our chassis compared to Sporty's and Touring bikes. Its just a leverage thing.
