Just had my speedo changed out after moisture accumulated on lens. After a few days noticed new speedo doing same. The dealer changed it out no problem. When I took the bike a couple of days later for a long scoot had occassion to bring it up to sixth gear. I have an 06 fxdi. When the number 6 came on the speedo I thought it was some kind of malfunction lite. As I downshifted to 5th and the lite went out I realized I received an 07 speedo. It still shows moisture though.

Very interesting, how do you like it? Ive actually tried to hit a 7 seventh gear a couple times and wonder if this would help me not do this..quite expensive i'm sure. I'm suprised it's a plug and play on an 06..pretty cool huh?

Well, now my 06 Bob has this too.
Never cleaned it soaking wet. And it is already 6 months ago that I rode it in the rain.
It only comes up at the beginning of a ride, later on it disappears again.
I will tell the dealer at the10,000 miles service.

happens to miine after washing or riding in the rain. always goes away after riding in the sun for a few minutes. doesn't bother me and has not left any residue. although getting a 07 speedo w/the 6th gear indicater would be nice. go for 7th gear all the time when i'm hopping of the freeway.
