The way I do it is put the photo into a web photo hosting service ( I use Photobucket ) then copy the direct link .
then I come here and paste the link in my post but add directly at the end ( no spaces ) of the link .. when you post it will open automaticaly
I add pic to my profile album, then I copy/paste link into post using the Insert image icon( the yellow mountain with moon), paste link under pic to it.

Good info. I was always curious how the pics were so big. Let me try. I will use a pic from my album here. I just right clicked on pic, copied the link and pasted it here.
I may be retarded, but I cannot figure out how to add large pics to my posts. If you can explain it to me Barney style - it would be appriciated!
You can just upload them to the forum thru your UserCP but you may have to resise them to be within the allowed sizes (posted on the upload messageboxes as you try) . If you don't have image editing software there are some freebees on the net. A good cheap one (that I use) is Paint Shop Pro.
After you get them uploaded to your albums then just copy and paste the link (shown below the pic) to any post you want it to show in.
The profile pic has different size requlations.
Good luck with it.
