I consider myself a somewhat "smat" ( i'm from boston ) person, but for the life of me i'm unable to figure out how to put photos in my postings without the x's covering the pix. I have also seen several of the posts with long writeups and pictures along with them. Please shoot me a PM or a link to the procedure.

Yep,

I thought I was smart to. But it is rather unique in how they expect you to post the photos, and the instructions that are out there are not up to date...

The easiest way is for me to go back thru step by step so here it goes.

Step 1. Go to the website called Photobucket.

Please do not look at any of the Mariah Carey pics. LOL

Step 2. Set up an account. Fairly easy as long as you can spell your name correctly
Step 3. Click on the "Upload Now" button, see the button in the upper right hand side that says "Chose Files" Click on that. Wait for photo to upload into your library on photobucket, it'll ask you to label it, oh what ever, I just want to put a pic of my scoot on my post like all the other idiots.
Step 4. Open another explorer window and go to hdforums, login, go to your profile. This will make it easier to track....believe me, I just tried it and realize there has to be an easier way.
Step 4. OK go to your photobucket page that now has you picture on it. you will want tohighlight the link that is in the box beside "DIRECT LINK"on the area below the pic. I don't know what the other stuff is.
Step 5. Highlight by left clicking the mouse,the writing to the right of the box labeled DIRECT LINK, then right click and copy.
Step 6. Go back to your explorere page in the your profile section and paste the link in the signature box. Now I wish we were done, but just a little further.
Step 7. You have to type in this before the link: [IMG] and type this after the link [/IMG] For example:
Step 8. Go to bottom of page and hit APPLY.
Step 9. Go back to bottom of page and hit OK

You should now have a picture at the bottom of your post.
Very important to follow the rules for the size of you photo. Try not to make it too big otherwise you'll mess things up or it will be too bick to post.
You can resize the photo which is all together another lesson.

Hope this helps, there are more instructions out there that can help better than this, I was just sitting at work and bored.
