I'd like to be able to post picture other than in my signature.I understand how to use [IMG] tags but every time I try to post a pic I just get the link inside image tags .Sooo what am I doing wrong? do the images need to be a certain size like the signature pic? and what about the "click here to upload" or Embed picture in post what do those do?I know this has been covered before but I'm not too adept at using the search feature can somebody help me out?
Do the click here to upload include in post, you will see a 'browse' button, find your picture you have saved on YOUR computer, click on the file and then hit upload, it won't take big pix, so use pixresizer.com if you need to make it smallet. usually can get by with 400X500 or so. good luck hope this helps
If you have PhotoBucket, the easiest way is to type it this way:
[IMG]copied link from PB[/IMG]
To copy the link from PB, click on Direct Link in the options under your pic. You should get a yellow "copied" sign. Return to the forum, click edit, then paste on the cursor between the [IMG]...[/IMG] brackets.
It sounds like you're pretty close to getting it if you see the link typing, but no pic posted. Have to be exact with the brackets, case and spaces (none).
OK I clicked "click here to upload" post and then "imbed picture in post" and I got a thumbnail of my picture which will expand to the full size.It doesn't show up in preview though.
