Contemplating another headlight change on my Fat Bob...
So, ever since I changed from the dual headlight to the 7 inch FatBoy style headlight on my Fat Bob, there's been something slightly off to me about it, and I think I finally nailed down what was bugging me. Follow me on this:
I think I need to move the housing up about an inch and a half to two inches, and back towards the frame about 3/4 of an inch. This could be accomplished pretty easily and cheaply by going to a machine shop and having them make me a new mounting block. Thoughts?
Exactly. I bought the same headlight off ebay and installed on mine. I want to move it back about a inch or so. Just seems to stick forward a litle too much. I was thinking this week on how to do this without having to get something custom made. I will be watching to se for ideas here.
Do ya have the part number for this light and how much did you pay off ebay?
