I actually had my mirror out and down more when I put it on but after the first ride (and not being able to see squat) I had to adjust it in more. The way it is now (tucked in close to the bar) I can see right over my left shoulder. It's only a 3" mirror and I was sceptical about the practicality of it when I ordered it but it turns out that its works alright, and looks **** IMO...

Oh those things.. Well thats easy to answer, their cleverly hidden on the work bench in my garage, lol.... but in all seriousness I am going to put the 'directional indicators' back on the front and back to appease the man... but I am still deciding what and where. Cause those 'things' i took off will never see my bike again.

That looks real good. I'm considering them now. Besides the cables, was everything else stock as far as the install was concerned?

BTW, i was just looking at the pics of your bike. That thing is sweet man! Question, did you relocate your horn or just ace it all together? Also, is that a homemade AC cover?

I like what you did with your front sigs I have been considering that position for relocation myself. All depends on which style of lights I end up with.... anyways, clean bike-good job!

I picked up a Namz wire extension kit as well. www.namzcustomcycleproducts.com

However, I had a lot of extra wire. I'm thinking I may have been able to pull it off with the stock wiring. Only way to know for sure is to pull that **** out and see how much play you have. You will have to take apart the wiring conectors regardless though if you plan on running your wires internally.

You'll need a new gasket for the clutch cover, and some brake fluid.

I also bought the manual from Harley $60 and it was definatly piece of mind.

Other than that you can use all your stock parts.

Thanks Skeeks for the props,

I cut the horn off. It's sitting on my workbench in a box probably near where your turn sigs are sitting on your workbench. My horn was never really louder than the exhaust, so it didn't serve much of a purpose.

I followed Mud's instructions and modded my stock airbox cover by cutting the center circle out with a dremel. I bought a filter/backing plate kit from Zippers. Lots of forums readers have done the same, it's a great (dirt cheap) mod.

Regarding that lower frame front signal mount point, there is a lot of vibration down there so use a stout mounting bracket.

I want to clean up my rear end next... (and get 21 front 18 rear...)
