I am going to buy another stock one and send it off. It stays warm enough to ride here almost year round. Pair that with the fact that this build I am doing on my bike is running about three weeks over and I just can't wait any longer to ride! I'm about a week and a half from getting it back now.

Surely there is a chromer in your area...have you tried looking? I found mine through a search...he was doing a lot of bumpers for guy's restoring cars and I found his info on a forum.

You would probably cut the wait time down and wouldn't have to box and ship.

I know you said the WG dash isn't in the budget but by the time you buy a extra SB one and have it chromed you are not talking much difference. You can get them 20% off from lots of places and moving the switch to the dash was the best mod I have made.

Here is a picture of my dash. The picture does not look as good as it does in person.

As far as extra parts just need a switch and some wire to extend the wiring.

Default chrome console

I bought my console from Zanotti HD in Pa for about $68.00 over the internet. I wenr to my local dealer, checked price, got part number, and went home and ordered from Zanotti. Zanotti has great internet pricing and their shipping is very reasonable. Naturally my local dealer will not meet or even try to meet Zanotti's pricing. With shipping it was still lower priced and worth ordering from Zanotti. This was a year ago and a whole lot of parts ago, but I think it was $68.00. I considered the new Wide Glide console, which looks nice, but I think the Street Bob console looks cleaner, so I decided on the Street Bob console. Just my opinion, both look nice. If your not in too big of a hurry, Zanotti is a great source for parts. Takes about 7 days UPS reg shipping from Pa to So California. Hope this is helpful.

Keep an eye on ebay, I just picked up a chrome WG dash for less than $40. There was another I was watching in case I didn't get it and it went for around $70. I already did the mod to my console but I like the WG dash, just gotta wait for some other parts to get it on.
