LOL, progressive did a good job taking care of joe. He really is Mr Hdforums. I have personally took Joe's advice directly and indirectly several times on my bike. Good move making him happy, and good business. IMO
Progressives are still on my list, but I need more info on this 440 custom section because my only fear was having a problem getting them setup just right.
Progressives are overrated like any after-market shock , i'll stick to my stock shocks it rides fine to me with 25,000 miles on them , i don't need to waste any money experimenting !
I just put 11 1/2" 440s (regular springs) on the bike Thursday...they feel great. I ride solo and weigh 197 lbs. I set 'em up with 3 turns, lowered the front 3/4", changed out the fork oil with HD SE heavy and the handling is spot on.
I've only ridden about 50 miles over various road surfaces and no bottoming out...I'm happy.
