I am wanting to give my Super Glide a Street Bob look with the tank and the mini apes, cables, ect. I want to eliminate the speedo on the bars. Do I have to change the risers also?
I want to buy a C&C seat. I have a fuel pack under the seat.
"C&C seats fit properly on HD stock bikes only! C&C seats Will Not fit any After Market Frames, Tanks, or Fenders, correctly! C&C seats will not fit any aftermarket parts, no power commanders, or other module for pipes or fuel injection that go under the seat".
I am going to the HD dealer here in Western North Carolina tomorrow. It is going to be 48 degrees and sunny. Good day for a ride. They are expecting me. I do not want to spend more $ then I have to.

I didn't know there were differences in the newer ones. I always thought there were just two kinds of fatbobs, the real ones, and those new flatsided ones, LOL.
I agree. As a matter of fact I mentioned that on another tank info thread several months ago. Tank fitment gets asked alot. Who decides if something is "Sticky" worthy?
Ok heres the deal,,,the wg tank does not go to 2010!!!! It clearly says that in the manual at hd, i seen it!!!
2010 and 2011 fxdb fxdwg and fxdL are all the same! only those 3 bikes for those 2 years!!!
What im trying to find out is what is the difference on say an 2008/2009 bob,low or wg? What did they change just the speedo on 2010/11?
Im finding many 08 09 tanks for dirt but no 2010 or 2011's..and i need one now but im not paying 1000 from harley,So what tank can i use for my 2011 bob?
