This is a second request for ideas and methods....anyone who has installed a PC3 in their 06 Dyna could you help with some methods to the madness? I have the PC3 under the ecm and the bracket stuffed under the seat due to a water problem I had. I figuered I'd stuff it in a sandwhich bag and then route it up under the seat. Not sure if the "nipples" that hold the seat in place will ruin the connectors or not. What way did you all stuff yours in there? and has anyone else had a major problem with aqua in your connections? Going to myrtle beach for biketober and don't want to be stranded. Thanx a lot.
You can put the whole thing under your seat if you want. There's a lot more room than you think. If you release all the the wiring harnesses and spread them out you've got plenty of room next to the battery to put the pciii in sideways and then fit the wiring harnesses back in around it or to the rear of the battery.
That's the corner of the pciii sticking up next to the brass bolt hole. I've ridden in rain so hard you can't see ten feet in front of you and have had no problems.
