Exclamation Burly shocks and frame mount studs

Hi guys,

Just like to start by saying hi from Australia. Being a member of the Australian forum I haven't joined this one but always come here if I can't find my answers locally and this question I can't find an answer to anywhere.

The reason I ask this question here is not a lot of people are using the Burly Brand shocks in Aus. I bought some of their 10.5" rear shocks for my 2000 FXDX however after removing the OEM shocks there is no thread left on the top mount. Just curious if anyone has come across this issue or knows of a work around?

Cheers.

EDIT: S'ok found the problem, think the set-up is different for FXD and FXDX. Wonder if I can purchase the different set-up...
