2005 and 2007 dyna swing arm. what are the differences between them

I found a chrome swing arm cover in the J&P parts book but they say it fits a 2005 Dyna. I have a 2007. What is the difference between the swingarms. I think if the difference isnt to great the swing-arm cover can be made to fit. Dont know why they dont make one for the 2007

The swing arm is totally different. They changed the frame on the Dynas in 2006. The newer swingarm is larger, and the chrome cover for the earlier models won't fit it.

Wider, beefed up. Yours has a 160mm rear wheel and the 2006 models started that. previous years had a 140mm. 2006 was the year also that they changed the frame and front end as well as multiple motor advancements that your 2007 got with the new 96 inch motor
