Default SB cutting out

Sorry if this is posted elswhere, I did a search but didn't find what I was looking for.
I have a 2007 dyna street bob with 13k miles. its had exhaust(python staggared duals) and intake(SE stage 1) as well as the hd download. bike runs great and has never given my a problem. I went out of town for 2 weeks, came back and went for a ride. bike seams to "cut out" intermittently. I'll feel a loss of power then look down to see the speedo coming back up to whatever speed I am running at. It did it a bunch of times, then as I was going around a turn on the way home, it dies altogether. I was able to restart it and keep going, but this was still very disconcerting!

Thanks in advance.

PS. I am being stationed in Japan for 3 years so I just want to get as much riding in as I can. please help.

zero, thanks for your service. My 06 SB missed and the dealer couldn't find any codes and it would not miss when I took it in. Finally after a couple thousand miles, a code showed up. A wire to the rear fuel injector had broken inside the insulation at a zip tie. They repaired the wire and it ran fine until the rear injector connector came loose. A dealer in Kansas snapped it back on and it ran fine for the rest of our trip. It happened again while the wife and I were out. I found a small stick and pressed the connector back on and it ran fine. The dealer took my work for it and repaired it under warranty (entended warranty) and has not missed since, over 30K miles. If nothing else, this will give you a starting place. Good luck.

First thing, check all the battery and ground connections. Then see if it threw any codes.

Check:

1. Battery connections
2. Fuel injector wires
3. Trans speed sensor (pull out clean then reinstall)
4. Crank position sensor.
5. bank angle sensor (due to the turn thing)

Thanks all,
researched how to pull codes. I got b1007 under SP and b1121 under S.
cleared both codes. I will go and check all connections now.

Last time I had this problem it was a loose ground wire on the battery. A little blue loctite and it hasn't happened since.
