I'm loving the ride with the air shocks. I went from 11" HD Progressives to 12" air shocks the difference is like night and day.I haven't spent that much time on it yet but the Nightster bars feel better to me than the 12" apes I had before and maybe even better than the Flanders H5s in my old sig pic.
Thanks for the compliments it's like having a new bike really. What do you think about putting chrome heat shields on a flat black Thunderheader? I've heard of it but can't recall ever seeing it done.
Ed,
Not a thunderheader but it might help you visualize the concept.
I keep reading where some say the geometry of a Dyna is wrong for those bagger shocks and that they're not made to support a Dyna, but everyone who's personally talked about using them says they're great...lol.

I've heard the same thing but since most of my riding is one up they feel just fine to me.I'm running about thirty lbs in them right now which seems like a good compromise between comfort and ride hieght. If you don't mind the extra hieght you can get standard Electraglide or road King take offs really cheap on Ebay. I had those before and was pretty happy with the ride but I didn't like the way they looked once I chopped my fender. The 12"ers are the same length as standard Street Bob shocks so they look about right to my eye.

Ah, so is throwing a 2nd rider on what makes the difference with those bagger shocks? I ride 1-up 90% of the time but occasionally throw the wife on the back from time to time.
