Couple tips for half helmets: get one with the removable ear flaps, I keep mine on year round because it reduces the wind noise alot. If you get one that has a visor remove it and it will help reduce the parachute effect on your head and reduce neck strain.

 

That helmet is the same DOT de-certified helmet that Advanced Carbon Composites sold. And, the models wearing the helmets on the website are the same male models used by ACC. ACC ran out on their agreement with the NHTSA to refund the helmet costs and I think they reopened under a different name.
