I was bike shopping a few days ago. I currently own an 06 Bob, I love the bike but I was shopping for a little more cruising comfort. salesman seemed like a nice guy and took me aside and told me to wait until the 08's came out that the 07s were gonna be problems. I was suprised to get this from a guy who makes money selling bikes.

Yeah...but you might not want to wait until 08 either because I heard a giant meteor is going to hit and wipe out most of the life on the planet
Anyone with an 07 Dyna. I'm considering an upgrade from my 883R to a Dyna. To many folks on the Sportster page who don't own a bigger bike have been dissing the 07's for problems. YOU own one. What do you think? Are you happy with it? Want to hear it from you rather than the salesman. Thanks for the help. Dave
Interesting, I frequent the Sportster area..have an 07 Sportster and don't really remember reading any posts there dissing the 07 BT's..can you reference some of these?
Used to own a 79 Sporty...i realize that this is a completely different animal than the newer F.I. bikes...but my Bob outperforms it in every way. Loved the Sporty, but i wouldn't go back.......
About three weeks ago I decided to trade in my 05 1200C and buy an 07 LowRider. I did not even test ride it. As soon as I took delivery and rode away I new I had made the best choice. The bike is so much more comfortable than the Sporty and is easier to handle. I put a lot into the sportster and I still think it is a great bike, but if you could move up to a Dyna, go for it.
Do you care about going fast at all? If you do keep the Sportster and upgrade it to a 1200.If you're more interested in comfort or big twin style get a big twin.I have an 06 Bob and even though I have experianced no real problems with it's reliability I'm already bored with performance of it.
